KenDor Textiles is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified.

The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is a worldwide consistent, independent testing & certification system that tests for harmful substances used during all stages of production (raw materials, intermediate, and end product).

This includes testing for illegal substances, legally regulated substances, known harmful (but not legally regulated) chemicals, and other parameters for health care. It provides manufacturers with a uniform benchmark when evaluating harmful substances potentially used in the production process.

Extensive product checks and regular company audits also ensure that the industry has a globally sustainable awareness of the responsible use of chemicals.

KenDor Textiles offers Organic Cotton Knit programs that are manufactured using yarns that are GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified.

The aim of the GOTS standard is to define world-wide recognized requirements that ensure organic status of textiles, from harvesting of the raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing up to labeling in order to provide a credible assurance to the end consumer.

Textile processors and manufacturers are enabled to export their organic fabrics and garments with one certification accepted in all major markets.

KenDor Textiles offers recycled polyester products that are made from yarns that have achieved Gold Level Certification by Global Recycled Standard (GRS).

GRS provides verified support for the amount of recycled content in a yarn. It also provides a track-and-trace certification system that helps to ensure that the claim "a fabric is made from recycled polyester" can be officially verified.

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) addresses input material verification, chain of custody, environmental principles, social requirements, and labeling for textile products made from recycled materials. It aims to be a full-product standard for recycled material content that balances rigor and practicality for the industry and end consumers.

GRS requires that certified companies keep comprehensive records of their use of chemicals, energy, water consumption, and waste water treatment including the disposal of sludge. All prohibited chemicals listed in GOTS are also prohibited in the GRS. Beyond chemical and environmental considerations, GRS also includes extensive provisions related to workers rights.
