FLAMMABILITY GUIDELINES
Garment producers are responsible for ensuring that their garments meet flammability guidelines. This is true for all apparel but especially true for children's wear.
There are a number of textiles that have been deemed exempt from testing because of consistent positive results.
Here's an excerpt from the - US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC)Wearing Apparel Regulatory Summary regarding these exemptions:
